Do I have to wash my costumes?
No please do not wash the costumes, we wash all the costumes on specific washes to help protect the quality of all costumes.
How long do I have to hire my costumes?
You can choose the length of hire time anything up to 2 weeks is included in the price, any additional time will have an additional hire charge added to it when you include it to your basket.
How much is postage?
If you hire 8 costumes or less, postage will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 and return postage label will be included for £10. If hiring 9 costumes or more, postage will be sent via DPD Next Day delivery and the return label will be included for you to return your costumes back by the end of your last hire day.
When do I need to return my costume?
When it comes to hiring our costumes, the start date you choose, will be the date the costumes arrive to you. The return date is the last day your costumes can be returned to us. For example, if your hire period is 1st – 14th of a month, we will make sure you receive them by the 1st of the month and the 14th of the month is the last day you’ll be able to return the costumes to us, any time after this will incur a late return fee of £5 per day and postage will need to be paid for again by the customer. All postage will include tracking so you can track your order and we can also track returns ready for the costumes to be hired again.
What if I accidentally damage the costume?
The original retail price will be charged for a damaged costume that is completely unfixable. If we can fix the damage, we will contact you.
Do you offer refunds/exchanges?
Unfortunately, we do not offer a refund unless it is 14 days after the order and at least 28 days before the event. We cannot exchange for free due to the shipping costs, if you are willing to pay for the shipping, if we have the size in stock you need we will do our best to help.
I changed my mind, can I cancel my order?
If you would like to cancel your order, you have 14 days to cancel after you have placed the order for a full refund. This must be 28 days before your order is due to be sent. Any time after this we cannot fully refund, instead we can place a credit on your account for when you next need the costumes.
I forgot to send the costumes back on the last day to send them back, what happens now?
There is a late return fee of £5 per day and postage will need to be paid for again by the customer. If we receive no costume/costumes back after the 7 late days of returns, we will charge the full retail price of the costume/costumes.
What are the advantages of hiring costumes?
Being a Performing Arts School owner ourselves, we know how expensive it is to purchase the large amount of costumes for each different age group and different performing numbers for shows & competitions. Most times the costumes cannot be used again because they are the wrong sizes for different groups etc and storing costumes can be a challenging problem. By hiring our costumes instead, we stock a large quantity of costumes ensuring that we can always help you find the costumes you need for your group numbers. If you really like a costume but cannot see all the sizes you need, please do contact us and we will do our very best to help.
How do I know which size to order?
Most of our costumes have size guides on the costume listing. Please do look at this first, if you are really unsure, please hire a few of our costumes before the show/competition to ensure you have the correct size. We cannot refund because the costume does not fit.
Can I collect my costumes?
Yes of course if you are local to Kent, you can come and collect your costumes at no cost. Also if you are local, you can come and see the costumes for sizing as we have our own premises in Kent.
